10:10 - reduce your emissions 10% in a year 03 September 09
If you're in the UK, you can hardly have missed the launch of 10:10, the campaign for individuals, organisations and companies to reduce their emissions.
Just today, we hear news that pretty much the entire Conservative Party front bench have signed up, plus Ed Miliband, the Energy and Climate Secretary.
I’ve signed up too, and I hope you’ll do the same. It doesn’t take long – though we’re talking about a serious commitment here, if this is going to be effective.
There’s voluminous information on the Guardian 10:10 website too – the newspaper is backing the campaign in a big way. I’d also recommend a fascinating spat between climate scientists: Kevin Anderson squares up to Oxford’s Myles Allen. Don’t miss it.
