I'm often asked why I think so many people remain in denial about climate change - and why, according to the latest polls, the numbers seem to be rising, despite the overwhelming scientific evidence that global warming is real.

Obviously there is no simple answer. But one of the best analyses I have read comes from Ted Nordhaus and Michael Shellenberger, both of whom have been critical of the environmental movement in the past. Check it out.
