Six Degrees reviewed on RealClimate 26 November 07
Well, it was worth the wait – Six Degrees has been very positively reviewed on the website RealClimate, a hugely successful blog and comments site run by climate scientists.
The reviewer is Eric Steig, a geochemist at the University of Washington in Seattle. As usual there is a very lively discussion underneath the posting. The main question: is Six Degrees alarmist? The answer… well, you’ll have to read the review to find out.

Great!
Great!
I’ve been waiting for some good recognition of this excellent book, and hope it becomes a best seller & inspires people to reduce their GHG emissions.
(& I’d like to think I had something to do with its appearance on RC, since I created a fiasco there some months back when I copied the (somewhat alarmist) news review of it there, and Eric lambasted the review (not the book)...then admitted he’d have to read the actual book to make a correct judgment of it.)
So it ended well, and I hope this really helps get the word out about the dangers, and helps mitigate global warming so 6 degrees is never reached, at least not in this epoch.
