No New Oil! 12 November 04
Dealing with climate change doesn’t necessarily involve big sacrifices and a reduction in living standards. Instead, kicking our addiction to oil could well prove to be a boon to all of us. The oil economy has caused brutal wars, led to the triumph of the mega-corporation over real democracy, fuelled destructive globalisation and led to a decline in communities and local living. A new booklet (which I edited), called Beyond Oil, examines the UK’s involvement in the oil curse, and the action we can take to challenge it.

The back or front cover look to be good for posters & displays at earth events or anywhere you can get by with posting it, and the pamphlet great for distribution.
