Our enemies on the far-right 12 January 04

According to the Daily Mail’s Melanie Phillips, global warming isn’t happening after all – and is in fact a great big “fraud” (read all about it on her website, and don’t miss the nutty comments underneath from all the wackos out there who agree with her). Of course Phillips, and the Mail itself, represent the far-right agenda here in Britain, so I’m personally quite happy to count them as enemies. But it’s also saddening how pseudo-science, childish mistakes and wishful thinking can so easily replace rational debate.
